Jamell Ponder is a native of Rochester, New York, and has an inherent passion for impacting the lives of others. Obtaining his master’s degree in Social work provided him a greater avenue to help others. For many years, Jamell has wanted to write a book; then one day, he put pen to pad, fingers to keyboard and created his autobiographical novel. To date, he has written a plethora of books – from romance to mystery/thriller, to drama, memoir, as well as children’s books. Jamell enjoys spending his leisure time volunteering, spending time with loved ones, writing, playing drums and basketball. Joseph Ponder grew up in Rochester New York, with nine siblings, in a good Christian home with two loving parents who read bedtime stories at night. At a young age, Joseph did not take the road less traveled, but rather the road most traveled. On that road, Joseph discovered his passion for writing. Joseph found solace in other people’s literature – from children’s books to suspense and mystery novels. One day he said to himself, :I can do this. I can write just like that author did. I am going to write a book!” Not only did he write one book, he has written several.
